Prophecy skills in Factions - Guild Wars Forums

I only have Guild Wars Factions but I would like some of the skills from prophecies. I've been told i can get them from Priests of Balthazar but they only have some of them. Not the ones I want. I was wondering if there is any way to get these skills, or would i have to buy Prophecies?

If you only have factions, you can only access the factions only and the core skills. In order to get the prophecies only skills, you would indeed have to purchase Prophecies, then travel to Tyria and buy them or get them through quests or caps.

You have to add Prophecies to your account to get Prophecies-only skills.

Some skills are considered "core" and so will be available in all chapters.

Some skills are unique to each chapter and must be acquired there.

Some skills have duplicates between chapters - like Galrath Slash and Silverwing Slash, same skill, different name, both can be equipped and used.

Make sure you check ALL the skills, they make some skills in factions the same for the people who don't have prophecies, like the one mentioned above. Same skill just a "factions twist" to them.
